Notice to users with OSX Lion and FileMaker Pro 10.x and higher
Our software is based on the engine of FileMaker Pro v6. MacOS 10.7 (Lion) and above no longer include Rosetta, the invisible code that allows applications with legacy PPC code (such as FileMaker v6) to run on a Macintosh with an Intel processor. Therefore, no rootsolutions software can currently run on Lion. FileMaker v10 and higher support native Intel operation and its engine is therefore required to run our software on the current MacOS.
To complicate matters further, FileMaker v6 files are not compatible with FileMaker v7 and above and so a Catch22 situation arises where you need to convert older FileMaker files using a software that cannot be used.
Currently, an effort is made to at least preserve the existing feature set of our software so that you will be able to continue using it. Because of the many packages involved, it may take a while until we're ready. If you are interested in beta testing, please send an email via the support form.
